lowes

i went to lowes today to get a better quote for my grant proposal and i was there for 2 hours! i was very surprised to find a guy that helped me out he done some voulnteer work at capuchin. well after i got all my quotes i really am considering with trying to get this grant. thanks lowes for giving me that extra boost!

my presentation

I read all of my responses about my presentation. I got good fed back and very helpful feed back. Most of my reviews made me happy because I was very nervous talking in the front of the class. Thanks!

Earth Day

Today the children made a collage of the earth. First they cut up pictures of the earth (up to 15 images), then they glued it to some paper and had quotes about the earth. finally they put a strip of glue on the paper and sprinkled colored rice or sand... They turned out beautiful!!!! They are very creative it amazes me every time I go.

blogging.presentation

I am not the best blogging person in the world. But I gave my presentation today and it went better than I expected. I gave my presentation about having a greenhouse for the Capuchin sop kitchen for the children. I was very nervous. I just have a great fear of talking in front of others. I really enjoyed the other 2 presenters today they were very passionate about helping the men at Mariner's Inn.

Oh The Kids...

I went to Capuchin on 2.3.11 the day after our lovely snow storm. It seemed interesting even though it was only 2 children, so it was a very short meeting. I will be going there tomorrow and hopeful it will be more kids and I will get the full experience.
